The Social Media Integration Conference, being held September 16-17, 2011, at Kennesaw State University in the Atlanta metro area, offers just that – and it’s only $125 to register through June 30.
You may be interested in attending SMIATL, but you probably have some questions. Here are the most common:
Q: Is it my imagination, or are you providing even more speakers and content this year at less than half the cost of SMIATL 2010? It can cost more just to hear one of your top speakers give a webinar – how can you keep the price so low?
A: It’s not your imagination! For 2011, we set out to offer a world-class event at a price that’s accessible to nearly everyone. Understanding this, and the fact that we’re a University with limited budget, our speakers – all dedicated to advancing real education around social media – have worked with us to make it possible. It’s truly a unique opportunity for attendees, and we’re proud to be able to offer it.
Q: There are a lot of social media events – what makes this one different?
A: In addition to its high caliber speaker line-up at such an affordable cost, SMIATL is laser focused on perhaps the most important real-world challenge facing those responsible for social media. The program is designed to make the most of KSU’s academic setting and offer in-depth instruction so attendees leave with key takeaways they can implement immediately.
Q: Is this like KSU’s SoCon?
A: No. SoCon is an Atlanta-oriented networking and education event with some “unconference”/camp-style elements. On the other hand, the Social Media Integration Conference brings in national speakers and voices that are new to the Atlanta area. This event draws attendees from all over the southeast and the country, and offers unique featured programming (like #Blogchat Live), as well as exhibits and demonstrations.
Q: I know the price is low, but how can I be sure I’ll get a good return on my investment in this conference?
A: Each session will offer specifics and road-tested insights, and include ample time for Q&A.
In addition to the amazing content, we’ve made sure to include many unique and creative 1:1 networking opportunities with industry leaders and key influencers, as well as your fellow attendees. Bring your list of personal challenges and specific questions to SMIATL, and you’ll leave with them answered. It’s as simple as that!
KSU’s social media events regularly sellout, and SMIATL 2011 will be no exception – register today.
